Works are progressing at Bristol Airport’s new £60m Public Transport Interchange and Multi Story Car Park. The bulk excavation is complete, and the foundation and structural elements are progressing along with the in-situ retaining walls and pre-cast ‘L’ walls. Most recently, the Alan Griffiths / Farrans Joint Venture team have managed to complete the extensive 764m3 raft pour - a key milestone achieved with a huge effort put in by all. The project is now eight months into its duration, so it’s good to take a step back, view challenges faced, and how they have been overcome collaboratively. We hope to see the project taking shape in the coming months as the frame elements commence.
