With all demolition activities complete and recyclable materials crushed and sorted, the site to the North-east of Bristol Airport’s runway has been levelled in readiness for resurfacing. By the 20th February 2023, 80% of the wet lean concrete had been laid to Phase 1A and the pavement quality concrete slabs had commenced. Aeronautical ground lighting specialists ATG are due to begin their installation on the 13th March 2023 with overall project handover on track for completion on the 12th May 2023.
