QuantumCLS provided post contract Project Management, Contract Administration and Cost Management on this £600,000 project which was completed in December 2023. The project was procured with the use of NEC3 Option A (D&B) and comprised the replacement of the Instrument Landing System (ILS) for the 09 Runway End at Bristol Airport. The project also included the upgrade of navigation aids (NAVAIDS) including antennae and existing equipment cabins and controls necessary for the works. The project faced many challenges as the airfield was to remain live throughout the works, with limited windows for shutdowns for ther transfer of equipment, but was completed on time and without interuption or delay to the scheduled flights.
In November 2021, QuantumCLS also provided post contract Project Management, Contract Administration and Cost Management on similar project which comprised the replacement of the Instrument Landing System (ILS) for the 27 Runway End at Bristol Airport.
