As part of their strategic review of Aircraft Aprons, Bristol Airport has established the need to expand the pavement quality concrete aircraft aprons to the south of the runway.
The works comprise the construction of aircraft aprons in pavement quality concrete to the north of Taxiway Hotel and west of Taxiway Juliet and the construction of a new taxiway. The scheme includes drainage to soakaways, the introduction of high mast lighting to the new apron and associated electrical supply and distribution, together with adjustment to the airfield signage and aviation ground lighting, supplies, switching, controls and software modification necessary for the works.
